well, they provide a SIM card and a verybasic handset, yes.
Challenge is making the UK Tech support team understand that handsets that are "mainstream" in the UK (and so are the corporate standard) are usually only available from places like Hulto.net here in Finland ;)
but lets not turn this into a "who has the worst handset" competition.
i have the E90 too and really like it, but i'm in LOVE with the E71. it's been a whole year and still i'm smitten with it. hope i get to keep this for another year!
i have an E90 (i paid for it out of my own pocket!), and i love it. First true all in one gadget. I would like an E71 though, as the E90 is a little on the portly side, however i can't give up the giant (in terms of number of pixels) screen.
If i had not paid for an E90, i would have bought an E71 and a netbook of some sort by now.
if i didn't get this new E71, i'd probably wait and get something (pay from my own pocket) later this year, with N97 a high possibility. @constantine: same as before, grey with Finnish keypad, but i'm not complaining!!
Yes, means that your fingers don't slip on the keys which makes for more precise typing; also means that someone in the industrial design side of things wasn't listened to initally when that was suggested as a way to attract the fingers to the keys, make for more accurate typing without needing region specific touching.
@cybette: I guess it was the context you used the abbreviation in that fooled me altho I had a hunch that you were referring to the CE mark. But now that you hav established the use of the acronym in less legalistic contexts too, I'm ok with it. :)

The N97 is looking kind of interesting as well.

We're actually taking phones back. I wish they'd just give us a sim, but not even that right now.

for the love of god, use the case, do not drop it anymore and please do not use your device as a hammer.

hmm, the keys feel different. less smooth, more friction which i guess is a good thing?

My old n97 is dead. It has been in ER and still not responding. Maybe it was too lonely in my drawer and decided to give up.

O Jukka, and I used to like you : P

Hey jukka, I have seen your Nokia blog stats (I was the Longtail writer). ; )

@jukka is very popular; but only after he shares that N97 XD

Good point @arjw. I suggest we start a rotation.

I'v found Jukka to be a very agreeabl person but flaunting his prototype N97 is a bit rude to say the least. ;)
