A bit less drunk people here in Birger, Hämeenlinna. My third drink for the night (a "spiced" cocoa with cognac and whipped cream). I guess I ought to call it quits soon and head home so I can force myself to Tampere in time tomorrow. Have fun singing loud and embarrassingly. :P
a couple of guys joined our table, and they were quite drunk, but really fun. they (and J) were talking mostly in Finnish, i don't mind that, i just wish i knew more finnish to at least follow what's going on. but we had fun. decided to leave "early", since we have a bigger day tomorrow! :D (but no karaoke... i picked a wrong song again tonight)
what's SingStar? am i missing something? well at this karaoke bar they have both English and Finnish song selections. i need to learn some finnish drinking songs...
It's fun sober, but freakin hilarious drunk, especially as you can the video camera record you and who you're battling/duetting and watch and hear immediately after.
@cybette: I've just seen they've even got Finnish versions - That'll help with improving your linguistic skills! I picked up a Spanish 80s one for my niece but didn't help either of us (way too fast) ;-)
@gwapz: That would be sober though, wouldn't it? And with a sober audience... eek!

A scientific test should be undertaken in order to prove, once and for all, whether karaoke is more fun sober or drunk. Volunteers?
@gwapz: In the UK people will fight over anything, but singing? Hmm, not so sure. Unless it's one of those Simon Cowell shows on TV!
