Ah hah! here's the difference, the PF version "includes a mobile
versions of the popular Firefox Web browser and Thunderbird e-mail
client. Have your personal e-mail and Web favorites with you at all
times - private and secure." Thanks for the link!
No prob. :) That's a marginal difference tho. I think the
difference in cable management is the more divisive factor based on
personal preferences. Minimal things, however.
No I don't, but I haven't used it extensively with the Aspire
One to notice anything. Btw based on the pics mine is probably the
PS unlike what I said first. With my LG T1 2-kilo notebook there's
no problem that I can discern. I guess I could install Ubuntu Hardy
Heron on it and do some testing with both machines.
Btw disregard what I said about HD-PS being the newer model --
frankly I don't know which was released first. It could be that
Buffalo Tech has delayed HD-PF in Europe cos of localization/I18N
issues with the Firefox and that's why the European website doesn't
show it.
Mine was from Stockmann Turku, remember -- Ruisrock and all the
procrastination of yours truly. :) As for the capacity and cost,
well .. I'm quite sure the capacity was 160GB, cost: no clue. I
think the price was competitive tho. If you want to check the
relevant prices of finnish e-tailers go to http://hintaseuranta.fi , or for a
more comprehensive (but also sloppier) comparison to http://vertaa.fi.

This is the pdf spec sheet for the PS series which I think is a newer revision of PF: http://www.buffalo-technology.com/files/...

Actually this page shows that there is a difference between cable management in HD-PS and HD-PF, and mine is definitely like HD-PS on the page:

and the PF is just a tad larger and heavier. do you have problems with getting enough power for the drive through USB?
