I sure will! Now thoroughly enjoying Dúné, not a metal band, but very refreshing and great energy (7 person band, very young) - their first gig in finland. I'm impressed, will check out their stuff when I get back.
@cybette I checked Dúné on their myspace and it sounds good! Elektro, post punk, alternative rock... interesting. Even they are under twenties they've already been playing together almost ten years. The gig list says they are in Ruisrock in Vantaa today! So there are Dúné fans walking around in Korso now :) Enjoy!
yeah, almost missed the fine print that there's a Turun Sanomat stage! now watching Ismo Alanko Teholla (@map any relation?), a nice "break" after Teräsbetoni (fell in love with the frontman's operatic voice). The percussion setup is incredible, there's even a marimba (one of my favorite instruments)!
@dst just googled him, very impressive. Now another "light music" act, Anna Järvinen. Nice voice but the music is a bit sleep-inducing (not necessarily bad)
chick rockers ftw! Stalingrad Cowgirls, good sound albeit a bit generic, but wouldn't mind seeing them again in future (hopefully at a stage with better sound system / balance)
Lauri Tähkä ja Elonkerjuu... A coworker fed me much of their stuff, plus saw them at the Nokia summer party, so very familiar with their songs. Enjoyable..
i'm actually dead tired but their music energized me. I think I have time for one more band before I have to go back to the hotel, get my luggage and head to the train station ... Too bad I'll miss apocalyptica this time
they aren't due for another hour, I'll catch them at ankkarock. On our way out we saw Apulanta and Kent. Both worth a listen (or a few), but Bullet still ringing in my ears

my bad, a vibraphone, not a marimba, still very cool. Playing with 4 mallets, been a while since i've done that, kinda miss playing percussion...

Surprisingly americanized to be Welsh but then again genres cross nations very easily these days.
