since duncan headed back to tampere and jarkko has a suite at ruissalo spa, I'll be packing up my tent and heading to the spa :P if I still want the tent experience I guess I could set it up in the suite?
Hehe, take full advantage of the non-hole-in-the-ground facilities :o) don't forget to enjoy the bands too though, Nightwish was certainly the most enjoyable for me, might have to get some Sonata Arctica too... 2 new bands for me
ok you're at the spa, you're no where near the end of that road. keep going down that road, past the camping site, and you'll find a huge house that you can rent rooms in. there is a sauna and grill right by the beach too, all within 300 meters of said house. that's the house: http://www.turku.fi/public/default.aspx?nodeid=8125&culture=en-US&contentlan=2
@constantine, the camping site you're thinking of is the Ruisalo camping, we were staying at the festival camping, next to Turun Halli, just set up for the festival. From the festival site it was in the opposite direction by the look of the signposts.
my focus is on enjoying turku and Ruisrock and not so much on where I stay... Of course everyone's priorities are different and I have to apologise to duncan for hurting his back, as well as thank jarkko for the kind offer to set up tent in his mini suite. I just hope everyone had fun / continue having fun regardless!

@constantine: Thanks for the tip on Villa Saaro. I'm thinking of attending Uuden Musiikin Festivaali which is going to be held in Kupittaanpuisto, Turku, on the weekend of July 25–27.

i know which camp site you're at, why don't you split one of the rooms in the house at the end of the road? that's what i did when i was in turku.
