7am arrival in stockholm. Tourist info kiosk ran out of maps. Guess we'll just wander around for a while until we meet up with Jonas and Anders!

Me being pretty much a noobi with Nokia Maps (cos the Google map app is much easier to operate) I'm wondering what added value these cityguides provide in Maps? Are there like a plurality of points of interest (historic sites, shops, public buildings, etc) placed on the map, or how does it operate really?

Yes, points of interests, accommodation, food, shopping, services, activities... Quite a lot of stuff actually, placed on the map conveniently for you...

Visited kungliga slottet (royal palace) and the lovely little suomalainen kirkko. The one we really wanted to see, "heavy metal" livrustkammaren, isn't open :(

Lots of stuff to see in Stockholm! :) Karin and I will be in at noon to do some outdoorsy shopping. Always an endless stream of things to get and upgrade when it comes to backpacks, tents and stoves. Now that I think of it, upgraditis within this realm is actually a lot worse syndrome than with mobile phones :)

Oh, between 15-19 there's a tongue-in-cheek protest against the FRA law that was passed a few weeks ago in Sweden (sorry, only found a Swedish version). There's bananas in it for you (us) if you (we) go there :)

@lemonad we might go shopping with you, we need a tent!

Just tried on a dress, reminding myself why I don't wear dresses: I look like a guy trying to cross-dress....

@cybette: ah, a tent you say, we can help you there :) although I think you're looking for a festival tent and not a fancy handmade Swedish tent, right? :)
