At least EU roaming charges should be reducing soon (the networks have been told to reduce their rates or face regulation...), and we've already got networks like 3 offering "3 Like Home", where if you login into another 3 network around the world, you are classed as being at home, and don't face any additional roaming costs. No use to @cybette though, as I don't think she's in a country with a 3 network!

I wonder if we will ever stop worrying uploading something before we loose the network due to a border crossing...

I use a 3UK SIM for data roaming in 3 countries. Works great! Wished Voda and others would follow this good example.
