So I dragged my sorry ass to the doctor's this morning, being
feverish and perspiring all night I had no idea how cold it was
outside so I dashed out with just a thin short-sleeved top and
capris. After a few minutes of walking I started shivering. Oh
well, I didn't want to be late plus I'll be hopping on a bus so not
a big deal. Got my prescription for Penicillin and rushed back
home, thinking I'll rest a bit, eat something, put on a jacket and
go to the pharmacy.
Guess what, I fell asleep. Which is good, I had a nice long 5
hour nap (first uninterrupted one over the past few days) followed
by two short ones. But then when i got up it was past 7pm, and the
pharmacy here closes at 7. Dammit. Now having some dinner so I'll
have some energy to head out to city center (those pharmacies open
till later, thanks Minna for checking!). Wish me luck, hope I make
it back in one piece.
As soon as I feel like I'm coming down with something, I force
feed myself bucket-loads of water, until I'm peeing like a
race-horse, trying to flush out the bug.
I have absolutely no medical qualifications, but it usually
helps me to feel better a bit quicker. It might just be a mental
thing though.

already saw doc, despite some initial resistence :) @steve yeah the one in the center is
open but i just didn't feel like "travelling" but no choice now. i
guess i should have been drinking water instead of beer at the
nokia summer party on friday :P
Thanks, i got to Keskustorin apteekki at 21:45 and was out of
there at 21:50 and onto the next bus home. Round trip time around 1
hour, not too bad. It's open 8-22. I thought the one in Hervanta
was open longer, but only 8:30-19.

Bunny, take a taxi and ask it to wait! It costs a bit, but you save lot of time and driver looks after you!

@matiasm: Keskustorin Apteekki closes already at 22 (yes, it has changed). Yliopiston Apteekki is open from 7 to 24.
