Take care, Carol. I think taking a magnesium supplement + some ubiquinone (Q10) could help your metabolism. When I get a headache, I take these two pretty religiously along with more traditional meds (ibuprofen, aspirin) and plenty of water like the others said above.
thanks everyone. been drinking lots of water but no improvements. having trouble finding pain killers. somehow made it through a meeting that i had to chair because manager couldn't make it (i have a feeling that he's already started partying ;)). spilled coffee on my keyboard and mouse. hmm, not doing very well today. BUT,... let's hope things get better! the weather's great for one :)
Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions... i took some of them. Headache's gotten better (thanks to Stefan for getting Burana for me on his way to meet his gf) although not completely gone. Doctor? nooo.... i'm feeling much better already :D @pandagirl9 actually the weather transition wasn't too big this time, it's been quite hot here these past couple of days (almost 85F!). And the pain killers didn't knock me out, I still wake up every half hour for some reason... was in bed the whole day but don't feel very rested :P

oh, i definitely plan on wearing one of the pairs of new shoes i bought. but they're not going to cure a splitting headache :(

now i'm really sick. Fever, chills, waking up at least 50x through the night (no, i'm not exaggerating). Headache worse than ever. Can't sleep/rest.
