i've tried plazes, google latitude, nokia friendview, brightkite etc. but never quite got into any of them. i think the critical mass hasn't been reached yet, where majority of your social circle - near where you live - is using the same service and updating and checking it constantly.
the only one i use consistently (though not daily or even weekly) is Dopplr. i have a good number of contacts on there and even though i haven't actually met up with someone whose travel plans coincided with mine, it's interesting to see where my friends have been / are going. (on a broader scale, not just to the supermarket in the neighbourhood :P)

@jocap: i think they have some integration with Facebook but unfortunately not twitter. you can still feed it to twitter e.g. using twitterfeed.
personally i actually don't like autopost. i post selectively using pixelpipe (very high level of configurability). well, like i said, really depends on your needs and whether the service matches them!

Share on Ovi isn't exactly most feature-rich but it doesn't have the limit like Flickr and you have access to all your original files. mobile access, albums (one file can be in multiple albums), support for different media types (video, audio etc.) are pluses for me. I guess it depends on whether the feature set matches your needs :)
